Biografía Romina Cerri

Bio

Romina Cerri was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She grew up among music lessons taught by her father (a guitar player), her two older brothers (musicians) and her mother (a singer).
From an early age, she wrote her own songs. She used to spend hours all by herself inside her own, inner, musical and literary world, full of fantasies, weird creatures and winding paths. She went from ballads to punk music, feeling strongly attracted to depressed Goth sounds, but also to cheerful pop songs. In 2007 she released her first record, which was the only album

of her electrorock band "Vinílica".
In 2012 she dissolved the band and started her solo career. This new journey helped her liberate all her sound fantasies, no matter the style in which they might be labeled. In April, 2012, she started to record her second album, her first one as a solo artist: "Gigantescamente microscópica" (Enormously microscopic), with production by Leo Peire, and featuring Daniel Cerri, Oscar Marzullo, Luis Sirimarco, Chiro Membribe, Matías Cerri, Pablo Cerri, Guillermo Martel, Rodrigo Zárate and Leo Peire, among others.
